The Initiative for Effective Nonprofits works to provide and facilitate resources to strengthen the governance and management of nonprofit organziations so that they will be more effective in delivering services. Organizations that are well managed are more likely to develop, implement and sustain effective services for their clients. |
A partnership between the Wardle Family Foundation and the United Way - Thomas Jefferson Area, the Initiative is focused on strengthening nonprofit organizations serving residents of the City of Charlottesville and the Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. The Initiative's management committee is composed of local citizens and representatives of area organizations and foundations.
