Whether you need help finding a child care provider, assistance with food, clothing, housing or other basic needs, are seeking health insurance for your children, or are looking for a job, you can turn to the United Way Information and Referral Center (I&R) for help. I&R connects people in need of assistance with local programs and services that can provide help.

The United Way Information and Referral Center maintains a database of almost 2,000 human service programs (public and private), nonprofit organizations, clubs, support groups and professional associations in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson Counties, and the surrounding region. Our trained I&R Specialists, Martha Trujillo and Leah Hill, will talk with you about your needs and connect you with an agency or program that can help. All calls are confidential.

For more information, contact a United Way Information and Referral Specialist at (434) 972-1703 or at ir@unitedwaytja.org.
