It is with great pleasure that the United Way-Thomas Jefferson Area Volunteer Center announces the third annual United Way Student Service Awards to recognize exceptional high school students for their outstanding commitment to our community through volunteerism or service-learning. The United Way will recognize a student from each public and private high school in Charlottesville and Albemarle during the Commission on Children and Families Youth Service Work Group’s 4th annual Celebration of Youth Service on April 28, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. at the Monticello High School Auditorium.
