WUP Membership and Collective Fund Timeline

While General and Donor Members are accepted at any time, there is a formalized timeline, described above, that enables our leadership to plan and budget for educational events, and allows our Collective Fund Grant Committee sufficient time to complete its due diligence regarding grant requests.

Therefore, our WUP annual Membership Drive runs from September 1 to December 31. General Memberships collected during that time apply for a full calendar year, beginning the following January 1.

Contributions to the WUP Collective Fund, of any amount, on or before December 31 of any year will fund a grant the following year.

Donor Member contributions (or any contribution) toward the WUP Collective Fund which are dated after January 1 will be counted toward the following year's grant.

For example, if in August 2009 an individual contributes $575: $75 will be a 2010 General Membership and $500 will be a Donor Member contribution to the 2010 WUP Collective Fund.
