Women United In Philanthropy Celebrates 5 Years!

Last Tuesday night at the Paramount Theatre the marquis was lit in our honor. Women United in Philanthropy celebrated its 5th Year!

Members and their guests socialized, all becoming better acquainted and WUP Grant Recipients from the last five years reminded us of all that our Collective Giving has accomplished in such a short time. We have made a difference in our community!

Member Sue Friedman noted, “ It was an amazing display of the power of women…coming together for the common good. Made me proud.”

After the short presentation many members and guests spoke about being energized over a group that had purpose—while having fun at the same time! A friend remarked to me, “…Just goes to show that women have capacity and interest.” I could not have said it better.

We are happy that so many of you joined us for that special evening and look forward to seeing even more of our members and their guests at upcoming events. Join in the giving! Join in the fun!
