Child Care Scholarships

In 1975, our United Way recognized the need for low-income working parents to have the peace of mind of stable child care for their children so that they could maintain employment and the self-sufficiency of their families.  Our Child Care Scholarship program has been helping local families ever since with partial funding of reliable, safe and educational care for their children.

We currently have a waiting list for the residents of Charlottesville and Albemarle. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, please contact our Child Care Specialist for more information.
