Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Coalition

The Thomas Jefferson Area Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition supports low-income working families in Central Virginia.

The coalition provides free tax preparation assistance and financial education and promotes the use of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for eligible taxpayers.

The Earned Income Tax Credit is a refundable federal tax credit for eligible working families. In 2012, the EITC is available to eligible working families who have earned household income of less than $51,000. Click on the buttons above to learn more.
