Our key responsibilities are to promote the mission and vision of Women United, serve as ambassadors for the organization, and engage our members and the community. Events & Programming

The Programming Committee provides dedicated experiences for Women United members and prospective members through events. Grant Committee

The Grant Committee serves Women United’s mission of strengthening our community through the impact of collective giving to support human services.  Through a comprehensive and transparent annual process, the Committee manages the nomination and selection of grant recipients. This process includes issuing RFPs, reading grant proposals, reviewing non-profit financials, committee engagement and on-site visits. Donor and corporate members of Women United are eligible and encouraged to participate on the Grant Committee and to nominate area non-profit organizations to apply for a Women United Human Services Grant Award.

Since the first grants were awarded in 2005, Women United has awarded $412,825 to area non-profit organizations serving women and children.

The 2017 Grant Cycle is in full swing, with our largest Grant Committee ever. We will start building our 2018 Grant Committee in the fall. To inquire about committee participation, contact Allyn or Jennifer, our Grant Committee Co-Chairs:
